My name is Katie, and I am a Cleveland-based portrait and lifestyle photographer. Personally, I love most aspects of photography, but professionally I have a principal focus on Maternity, Birth, Babies, Kids, & Families.

I would say that my style, personality, and perspective are what gravitates me towards a focus on telling a story – that which is the narrative of peoples’ everyday lives. My favorite moments are those that can’t be staged, or produced – the consolation a mom gives her two year old boy having a mini-meltdown, or the devoted gaze of a first time dad as he watches his daughter crawl across the room. They are moments of true connection, and the photographs are also the illustrations to which we find ourselves relating the most.

I also know these moments very well, as I can relate to them myself. I’m happily married to my best friend and biggest supporter. We have four children – one son, two daughters, one canine. Quite honestly, I’ve had a camera attached to my hip throughout my formative years, but spending these last few capturing moments with my family is really what has cultivated my desire to do more with my talent, and hopefully do more with you.
